Christmas Message 2022

Merry Christmas
And
Happy New Year

I pray this letter finds our CSC family doing well and looking forward to Christmas and the New Year. Looking back, we have accomplished so much, and we have had some disappointments. We should all celebrate the causes won and learn what we can do to overcome the shortfalls.

We have a slate of issues to address in the coming New Year. Some old and some new. Education, ethics, voter integrity, recruiting new members (especially younger members), finance campaign reform, vetting new candidates for office and hosting town hall meetings, just to name a few. We can meet the challenges.

We all have our individual areas of expertise and likewise areas of knowledge we can improve upon. As a family of strong conservatives, we can gather our individual strengths and come together to accomplish what needs to be done in the coming New Year. However, it does take effort and dedication.

Physical ailments have also hit our CSC family hard. We should keep each other in prayer every day. Not just prayers for better health but also asking God for strength and wisdom.

Right now, and through New Year’s Day, we should celebrate family and the peace and joy that comes with the celebration of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. By the way, it is Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and NOT Happy Holidays. The media and those behind commercial ads should be ashamed of themselves for wishing everyone Happy Holidays and taking Christ out of Christmas.

This Christmas season is also a time for us to reflect on all that is good. We should look forward with positive renewed attitudes but specifically with love for one another regardless of our disagreements. That is very difficult at times. Keep in mind that God is love and He sent His Son Jesus to spread the message of love the good news about a new covenant or new beginning. May each of you feel God’s love and peace.
