AN OPEN EDITORIAL

As Christmas draws near, this should be a time to celebrate our Lord and Savior’s birth, but the times we are living remind me of Stalin’s Moscow. As many gathered to criticize Sen. Ted Cruz, and Sen. Mike Lee, and the Republican party for its filibuster that shut down the government, many are and should be acknowledging them for this valiant act. These two patriots tried to pull the scales from the eyes of the American Public, so they could see the truth. Now that there are a million plus Alabamians, and millions more across the country who have found out after the shutdown, they now have NO insurance, and another 93 million workers at the end of next year also will lose their coverage, do you believe him now?

When will our people awake from this slumber? Sen Cruz was right! Our country is in decay. Time and time again the people of our country are being deceived. Federal Government has taken control of your Healthcare, The IRS, and Education through Common Core. While they are controlling your children’s minds through Common Core, Democrats continue to blame Republicans while you are being told the following:

“I will have the most transparent administration in history.”
“The stimulus will fund shovel-ready jobs.”
“The IRS is not targeting anyone.”
“It was a spontaneous riot about a movie.”
“You didn't build that!”
“Whistle blowers will be protected in my administration.”
“We got back every dime we used to rescue the banks and auto companies, with interest.”
“I am not spying on American citizens.”
“You can keep your family doctor.”
“Premiums will be lowered by $2500.”
“If you like it, you can keep your current healthcare plan.”
“I knew nothing about "Fast and Furious" gunrunning to Mexican drug cartels.”
“I knew nothing about IRS targeting conservative groups.”
“I knew nothing about what happened in Benghazi.”

Common Core threatens the very fabric of our nation. It will allow the Federal Gov’t to control the mind and the thoughts of our children. It is an indoctrination of the spirit as well as the mind. You found out that Sen. Cruz was not deceiving you, so will you believe him now? What will it take for you to wake up and see what is happening to you and your country. Will you now get off the couch and do something for your country, and your children? Your state and country needs you, please ask your legislators to repeal Common Core now! Just a phone call from you to friends, Governor Bentley or to your AL Legislator will do much. It is my wish that you have a very Merry Christmas, and that God will richly bless you.
