January 17, 2014

Dear Callie,

Our primary concern this year is to REPEAL the Common Core.  If we can't get it repealed this session, it will be too entrenched to do so.  We need YOU to come with us!  This Forum will allow Dr. Bice to put forth his reasons for liking Common Core and will provide others the opportunity to present alternative viewpoints and proof for thinking that Common Core is NOT good for Alabama Education.  The details are listed below. Click on the links and learn about those involved in the Forum.  I particularly recommend Jane Robbins.  CALL Kay (251-490-4699) and reserve your mini-bus seat for $30.  Pay your fare as you get on board Tuesday.   If we get 14-15 people, the $30 will pay for the mini-bus.  Fewer people will require car pooling and sharing the cost of gasoline.

Donate to Help Us Fight Big Government!

Common Sense Campaign Tea Party has only your donations to pay our expenses each month.  Your annual membership is helpful, but does not meet our needs.  Each time we have to pay for the phone, email services, postage, office supplies, or an event venue, the budget feels the pinch.  Been a while since you wrote a check to Common Sense Campaign? Prefer to use a debit or Credit Card?  We use PayPay, a very experienced and very secure company.  Call and ask when your membership is due. 251-626-7808. Dues are $20 Head of Household and $10 each additional member.  Add a bit extra, if you can add a bit extra, if you can. Perhaps you could send $10 per month and never again have to think about when your membership is due.  If you use PayPal, please put your names, address, phone # and email address in the note to seller box during check-out.
